Dallas here I come...

So tomorrow morning Kellie, Shay, and I are hitting the road and going to DALLAS, TX. I am so excited. We are going to the malls, and the Rainforest Cafe. It's going to be a blast. I get back Sunday night so expect a full report on Monday afternoon. You all have a great weekend. Love ya, rach

Eye of the tiger

So Kellie got this song off of itunes and it's now become our song of the week. We got in Kellie's mom's convertible, put the top down, and turned up the volume. It was awesome. This song has to be one of the coolest songs ever. So I guess the only thing now is I should probably see the movie. Now don't stone me yet I will see it one of these days. Anyway, it's been a fun time hanging with the girls. Peace!

My yearly recipe

So you all probably know but I can't cook ( its not a bad confession either). Its a FACT. But you know looking at all these other blogs everyone always has some new recipe. So I thought , "Hey! Why don't I share with the world my secret recipe of the best Italian dish this side of the pan handle." So here it is. You get the Walmart brand 50 cent CREAMY mac and cheese. Then you get BEEF frank hot dogs. Put about 5 to 6 cups of water in a pan. Bring it to a boil. Then cut 2 hot dogs into bite size chunks, put them in the water and then add the noodles. Wait 10min then take the pan off the stove. Drain the noodles and hot dogs. Then add butter, WHOLE milk, and the powder cheese packet. Turn until all blended and dinner is served. Wait and see what recipe I give you next year.

Have you been to the center of the universe?

So on Sunday I went to the center of the universe. No joke. In downtown Tulsa there is this place and when you stand directly in the middle of the circle you can here your own echo. Now what's crazy is that even a few inches off and you don't here anything. You can here yourself but others right next to can't hear a thing. There is even this big old story about scientifically its been proven to be the center. There is also this big tower with a huge door knob looking thing and when you ring it its said that it calls to the aliens. So that was my crazy fun day on Sunday. Later

DEAR JESUS

THOSE ARE THE WORDS THAT HAVE BEEN COMING OUT OF MY MOUTH FOR THE LAST 15MIN. I WAS JUST LEAVING SHAYLA'S HOUSE AND I OPENED THE DOOR AND SHE YELLED SPIDER! OF COURSE I TOOK THE DEFENSE AND JUMPED ON THE COUCH WITH THE DOOR WIDE OPEN. THEN I FELT SILLY. SO SHAY GETS DOWN ON THE GROUND AND IS LOOKING FOR IT BECAUSE IT WENT UNDER HER TV STAND. SHE MOVES THE TV STAND AND TOLD ME TO COME SEE IT. AS I PEER OVER ALL I SEE IT 3 LEGS OVER AN INCH LONG NO JOKE AND THEY ARE GRAYISH WHITE. SO I JUMPED BACK ONTO THE COUCH AND THEN SCOLDED MYSELF BECAUSE I THOUGHT I LET MY IMAGINATION GET AWAY WITH ME. SO SHAY GRABBED HER UMBRELLA AND I TOLD HER TO JUST GET A SHOE. THANK GOD SHE DIDN'T. SHE HIT THE SPIDER ONCE AND BROKE OFF A LEG (OVER AN INCH LONG) AND IT KEPT RUNNING THEN IT CAME INTO FULL VIEW AND I REALIZED THAT MY IMAGINATION HAD NOT BEEN IN USE AT ALL. THIS SPIDER WAS BIGGER THAN A HALF DOLLAR NO JOKE AND IT WAS GRAYISH WHITE. IT TOOK SHAY 4 MORE HITS UNTIL IT DIED. IT SERIOUSLY WAS THE BIGGEST SPIDER I HAVE EVER SEEN IN A HOUSE OR SHOULD I SAY ANYWHERE EXCEPT A PET STORE. MOM IT WAS EVEN BIGGER THAN THE ONES WE SAW IN HAWAII. ITS BODY WAS HUGE TOO. SO HERE IS THE PICTURE. I WISH I WOULD HAVE TAKEN A PIC WITH IT STILL ALIVE BUT YOU KNOW MY HEAD WASN'T QUITE THERE. ITS BEEN 20MIN AND MY HEART IS STILL BEATING FAST. SO THE PIC IS THE SPIDER DEAD IN A NAPKIN AND THAT THING ON THE LEFT IS IT LEG. NO JOKE THE LEGS WHERE AN INCH LONG. THE CRAZY THING IS I'M NOT EXAGGERATING. SO NOW I AM GOING TO PRAY FOR DREAMS WITHOUT SPIDERS AND MAKE MYSELF NOT JUMP AT EVERY ITCH I HAVE. WELL, SO LONG.

Tornado!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I finally had a tornado only 2 miles away from Old Navy. I was getting ready to leave and Kellie called me and told me to stay there because it was heading my way. Well, I didn't get to see it and it never did come directly there but it was still crazy. When I was younger I was terrified of tornadoes and it was so cool to see that I wasn't afraid at all. There was another girl at work who was scared and was crying and I thought that God is so faithful to me yet it was just another reminder that I have a job to do with my coworkers. So it was crazy but I definitely need to step it up with showing others the freedom that they can have in Christ. Side note but on Monday I have to do my sermon in class and I'm doing it on being free to serve. So I better start practicing what I'm going to be preaching. Well, I know it had been awhile but I will try to do better keeping up with these blogs. Love ya, Rachel
