BURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I know 2 post in one day but guess what. I have finally experienced my 1st Oklahoma ICE STORM. I even had to drive through it going home from work. I don't know if you can really tell from the pic or not but this is how crazy this state is... two days ago it was 70 then yesterday in was in the 60's until around 5pm then it way got cold and today 20's with ice. Crazy. Don't worry mom it should let up before you fly in on Sunday.

GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN PART 2

So I kind of forgot to put the post of Kellie's half birthday party. Two weeks ago was her half 21st birthday. Since we didn't get to celebrate it on her actual b-day we celebrated it this month. First, we kidnapped her from work (with her dad's permission of course). After that we took her to get a manicure and pedicure. It was also Shayla's first time getting a pedicure so we said that Shay lost her pedicure virginity. Fun stuff. Anyway, after that we did a little shopping, ate dinner at a Mexican restaurant and we had 2 waiters and one totally liked Kellie. Then we went back to her house and talked for 2 hours straight. It was a blast. It was a time of fun, food, and fellowship. We definitely need to do it again.

Bookaholic

So my friends say I have a problem and I don't agree (actually I thinks its denial). So I read so much. As you can see I put up some new stuff on this site and one of them is a library thing. So I have recorded some (yes just some) of the books I've read over the past year. There are 43 listed and that's not even all of them. Not to mention the ones I've read twice or even three times. Yea, it's bad. There are some good points about reading though. First, I don't watch that much TV at all anymore. Second, all the books I read are by Christian authors. Third, they are all set in the past and their is a lot of history in them. For example The Civil War, the mills where girls worked with the looms, going west before the railroad was put in, and the gold rush in California and Alaska. Fourth, it makes it easier to read my school books and the Bible because I'm so used to reading all the time. Fifth, There is always something for me to do cause I can always read. Sixth, I now know my way around the library (if you knew me in Jr. High and High School that's a major improvement). So have I persuaded you yet? Now I'm not saying its easy not to become addicted to these books and you stop doing the necessary but I have learned to use my time wisely and I am now a more disciplined person. Anyway, I just finished my favorite book, PROMISE ME TOMORROW by Lori Wick and now it's time for me to read some of my school books. So that's that. Have a wonderful day. Rach

Girls Just Want to Have Fun...

Now don't jump to conclusions. Those bottles are of root beer and cream soda. So the girls and I decided to have some fun so we got strawberries, bananas, and CHOCOLATE. Along with the drinks. It was so good although we were feeling it the next day. Anyway, we had a girls night with all that the the movie 13 going on 30. Can you have a better girls night? I think not. We also finished our wedding scrapbook. It was definity a lot of fun. Tomorrow is Kellie's half birthday and we are celebrating it. We aren't doing it on her real b-day because it's summer and we aren't here. So check it out cause I'm going to have a lot to say. Talk to you later....
